Food and Drink
I’m talking to my buddy Phil from My Life as a Foodie right now and I’m realizing something. I need to do something with my passion for food and beverages. If you don’t know already, I love to cook and I love to drink. Just because I enjoy both doesn’t mean I’m a glutton or a raging alcoholic either. You have to know moderation and that I think is the problem with most people who are critical to judge those of us passionate about these fine arts. Get your head out of your ass already because we’re the first ones you call when you want to impress those snobbish asshole friends of yours and pretend you’re hip.
Here are my most recent additions from Flickr
Memorial Day 2009 Cookout – I wanted to do beer burgers. We settled on cheeseburgers, ballpark hotdogs, corn on the cob, baked beans, Hawaiian rice, cole slaw, potato salad and cake. It was a win!
Mother’s Day dinner - Melted Gorgonzola delmonico rib eye, Stone Cali-Belgique IPA shrimp, smashed garlic taters, portobello mushrooms and asparagus.
Easter Dinner 2009 – Ham baked in beer featuring Coney Island Lager from Shmaltz Brewing

Awesome. Can’t wait to see this up and running. It’s about time you did something like this.
