O-man hits terrible 2′s full steam ahead
My O-man hit the 2 year mark last week and wasted no time embarking on the “terrible 2″ trip. Just as Teaspoon is starting to get out of it as he reaches 4, my youngest is ready for battle.
O-man is the instigator. He’s spent his last 2 years watching his older brother trying to figure out how to work against us and come up with his playbook. He has the temper tantrums down and he also has the puppy-dog look mastered so watch out.
Watching him you can see his wheels work. He’s watching you like a hawk and when the moment’s right he’ll attack. There are time he’ll wait until his brother is getting yelled at and once we turn around O-man will either run and push him over, slug him or point and laugh. You can see what we have to look forward 2 as these best friends get older.
He does have his sweet side that comes shining through most days and he’ll use his cuteness to suck you in before he strikes.
We’re at the point where his vocabulary is really coming around and he really wants to learn how to potty. Yes, a boy who WANTS to learn. Down side is that he is obsessed with Caillou and, as most parents know, that’s the devil.
We’re proud of our little man and now that he’s in the 2′s the excitement can only increase… along with sleepless nights.
