These folks are just lazy. rf, I can sympathize with the snow I grew up with in Erie. Part of the problem comes from the fear local media puts into people about any weather beyond a sunny day and general stupidity to the fact this happens EVERY year. Snow is not new and the way to live through it hasnt changed. Some yinzers just like to bitch and freak out when thought has to be put into something outside their house. Growing up in the New York Southern Tier I had many-a-time shoveling upwards of 3 feet of snow. It kills me when I look at people walking in the streets of Beechview because people have failed to clear their sidewalks. I wish I had my camera out last weekend. One family by me made a path from their front door to the street and then let their kids sled ride down it. nice eh?
