sunshine, Travis was just a drunken mess buckin the system, stealing back hoes, chasing neighbors with a jigsaw and driving drunk into my car. These folks are just lazy.

rf, I can sympathize with the snow I grew up with in Erie. Part of the problem comes from the fear local media puts into people about any weather beyond a sunny day and general stupidity to the fact this happens EVERY year. Snow is not new and the way to live through it hasnt changed. Some yinzers just like to bitch and freak out when thought has to be put into something outside their house. Kinda like driving through a tunnel or across a river.

I love when people here complain about the snow. Growing up in the New York Southern Tier I had many-a-time shoveling upwards of 3 feet of snow. It kills me when I look at people walking in the streets of Beechview because people have failed to clear their sidewalks. In the event you "accidentally" fall...I know a few good lawyers. ;-)

I would have had much better pictures if the snow didn't throw off the white balance on your sister's camera.

See what we have to deal with :) Funny thing is that last night I actually saw people hike it through the snow than take the steps.

The area I live is sent out reminders of how to shovel snow which I think got wet in the mail. I wish I had my camera out last weekend. One family by me made a path from their front door to the street and then let their kids sled ride down it. nice eh?
