Crappy, if it wasn't for the podcast I wouldn't be as heavy into craft beer as i am today. My regret comes from the fact that while on my honeymoon I had access to high demand beers only available in St Lucia and all I did was drink rum.

I've had moments like that also where I look back now and think "good LORD man why didn't you save one" but eh it happens. I'll never make that mistake again.

that said, I have 2 bottles of Zima from 1994 in my basement. wanna drink?

Lucky. Mother. F*cker.

One of the great regrets of my life involves the consumption of a bottle of Samuel Adams Triple Bock, one of their first shots at a really high-gravity release. A friend of my who owned a bar in Butler had a handful of bottles stashed after they were given -- GIVEN -- to her by a rep. I considered the purchase for two full years, and finally took one home at what I thought was a stiff price tag of $15. I kept it for nearly another full year before I cracked it open on a New Year's Eve.

And I thought it was ... OK.

The regret? I got that bottle well before I was able to appreciate it. It still might not have been a mind-blower -- the current Beer Advocate grade is a C+ -- but at least I would have known what I was drinking.
