I can’t believe I finally gave into Twitter. I considered it a useless tool until recently someone was looking for me and “hit the twit” for someone who could reach me. Mike Woycheck then told me a couple times people were looking for me. This ended up happening on multiple occasions so I gave it a try and was sucked right in. If you look down to the lower left side bar under RSS you can see my latest posting on Twitter.
Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows users to send “updates” (text-based posts, up to 140 characters long) via SMS, instant messaging, email, to the Twitter website, or an application.
Here’s the dilemma I ran into. Which name do I use? Most people expected me to use my name from the podcast, which I seriously considered and am widely known by, but I settled on my birth name. The reasoning is very simple, father spoon is only one side of many things I’ve started to create. Over the next year I’ll be releasing small projects I’ve started working on the side. When you get down to the root of it, it will be me. Hence this domain. I don’t do many things on a whim, everything has a reason. It was only a matter of time before I made Twitter a part of it.
